Subject: Delta Dental of MN covers Implants
Delta Dental of Minnesota’s pooled dental plans now include coverage for implants, beginning January 1, 2007. Implant coverage is being added to all employer-paid pooled plans that offer major coverage—it will not be included in DeltaCare, voluntary or preventive and basic-only plans.
To ensure the implant is covered based on the individual’s oral health condition and our policy provisions, we strongly recommend that dentists submit a pre-estimate request before performing an implant.

This month we had 10 children in our No Cavity Club! Congratulations to Paige who was our lucky winner!
For patients who have not heard of our No Cavity Club... Any child that is cavity free after their cleaning and exam gets entered in our club. They get their picture taken and a certificate for their hard work! At the end of each month we have a drawing and one child gets an extra prize.

Subject: Give Kids A Smile
February is National Dental Health Month and to participate our staff volunteered time and resources for Give Kids A Smile. On Friday, February 2nd, the girls here spent time providing preventive care including exams, cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants. On Saturday, we were able to provide restorative care for all the children we could physically accommodate on that day.
We would like to thank our suppliers who donated items making it possible to provide care and also send children home with goody bags (toothbrushes, toothpaste, and floss). We also thank the families of the children for bringing them in for care. Much thanks to them for their patience during a very busy weekend. Both the children and their families brought good cheer to us and we appreciate it very much.
